DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nAs we are enjoying the summer\, and the chance t
 o see family and friends after many months apart\, it is hard to think abo
 ut the High Holy Days. And yet\, plan we must! Erev Rosh Hashanah is on Mo
 nday evening\, September 6!\n\nWe are looking forward with hope and joy to
  coming together at this special moment in time. After more than a year of
  isolation\, tremendous unknowns and challenges\, we are looking forward t
 o being with each other at Ohav once again. The thought of returning to ou
 r beautiful sanctuary is both exciting and daunting.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis ye
 ar will be somewhat different than in the past. We are eagerly anticipatin
 g gathering together onsite\, indoors and outside in our Ohav Ohel (tent) 
 for High Holy Day worship throughout the Days of Awe. And\, we are thrille
 d to welcome Cantor Shlomo Goldberg back in person.\n\nIt is our intention
  that every member of our community who would like to join us for in-perso
 n worship will be able to do so over the course of the High Holy Days. In 
 addition to in-person services\, high-quality livestream services will be 
 available for all services held in the Sanctuary.\n\nWhile we are planning
  for getting back together\, we are aware that much depends on the coronav
 irus infection levels. We continue to closely monitor the situation and kn
 ow that we may need to pivot quickly. Our paramount focus is on congregati
 onal safety.\n\nYou will receive your High Holy Day packet in the mail in 
 early August. There will be details about services and programs as well as
  registration materials and a number of deadlines to observe.\n\nThe resil
 ience and strength of our Ohav Shalom community will enable us to experien
 ce the power\, beauty\, and spirituality of our High Holy Days in new and 
 exciting ways while also holding on to the traditions that have been hallm
 arks of our congregation for over 120 years.\n\nOur High Holy Day Task For
 ce is busily working on the many necessary details. We thank you for your 
 patience and understanding as we work to offer meaningful High Holy Day ex
 periences for our Ohav community.\n\n&nbsp\;
