2/13/20 Shalom, Ohav Family!
Our synagogue Israel mission is here safe and sound after a long but uneventful flight. We’ve gotten an early start on our tour with one of the easiest and most meaningful things one can do in Israel: plant trees. Here we are at a beautiful national, biblically themed park and nature preserve known as Neot Kedumim. We had the honor of planting trees such as carob, oak, pine, and cypress, all trees mentioned in the Bible. We did our part to help the environment, connect to the land of our ancestors and beautify the state of Israel. (Don’t ask us about the gorgeous weather!)
We miss you all. More to come next week. Shabbat shalom!
