Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless

Ohav Shalom members volunteer to provide assistance to Albany’s Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, which works to build stronger communities.  Their work empowers individuals and families who are homeless or facing homelessness by giving them the tools to be self-sufficient.

The first Wednesday of each month, Ohav volunteers cook dinner for the residents at the Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless. Anyone interested in joining our group of kitchen angels can contact Leona Kassoff at 518-478-9662

If you’d like to get involved, please contact the Ohav Shalom office or complete our volunteer sheet and indicate you’re interested in Cooking for a Cause.
