Looking at Chanukah Through a Modern Lens: Religious Freedom … What it Means for Ethiopian Jews

Please join with Ruth Malka this Saturday, December 5, at 11:00 am, as we welcome Sivan Lilay Cromika, an Ethiopian Israeli whose parents embarked on a remarkable, difficult and challenging journey from Ethiopia to Sudan …. eventually making their way to Israel.

She will share their experiences living in a refugee camp in Sudan for 3 years, her father being imprisoned in a Sudanese prison, and eventually being rescued by the Mossad in a secret operation.

Open to all 6th-12th graders!
