Ohav Shalom welcomes everyone who walks through our doors into our “home” and we are very aware of the importance of food to welcome and sustain all in our community. We understand the importance of food in feeding our bodies as prayer feeds our souls.
The shul’s kitchens continue to sustain and feed our community and the needs continue to grow as well. Melanie Grossman, an Ohav Shalom congregant and member of our Board of Trustees as well as Independent Consultant for The Pampered Chef, has graciously offered a kitchen shower registry on our behalf. Melanie has assisted our kitchen staff and our Early Childhood teachers to design a registry that will outfit us with new and high-quality products.
Knowing that people love the amazing products that Pampered Chef offers, she has included the opportunity to shop for yourself as well – while still supporting Ohav Shalom! Any items purchased for yourself, a family member or a friend will further benefit Ohav as Pampered Chef has agreed to donate 15% of all proceeds from the party back to the shul. Melanie has gone one step further and is matching that donation which means that 30% of all sales proceeds will be donated back to the Synagogue.
The Pampered Chef® is a well-respected company with a large selection of high-quality kitchen tools. You will find that people LOVE these products! The nice thing about this fundraiser is that the customers can purchase for the shul as well as for themselves!
Simply go to the Ohav Kitchen Shower link to order from either their registry or for yourself. The link for the registry as well as the link to shop are both found on that Ohav Shalom party homepage. Orders can be placed right online. Your credit card will be charged when the party closes on Friday, May 26, 2023.
The Fundraiser has begun and will close on May 26, 2023 – so please have all orders placed by that date. And remember, whether you order directly from the registry or you order from the party for yourself, Ohav benefits! We thank you for your support!
