The goal of this program is to provide a meaningful cultural and religious experience for Jewish adults and youth (teens) with developmental disabilities and to foster a commitment by the greater Jewish community to these individuals. The Seder, a 3000-year old tradition, is the central observance of the Passover holiday, consists of a participatory retelling of the story of the Israelites’ Exodus from slavery in Egypt, and is accompanied by a festive meal. Our Seder will be led by Rabbi Daniel Ornstein and will include a traditional kosher Passover dinner.
Jewish guests and accompanying staff and family are invited. There is no charge for this event.
