Please note the following special information for Shabbat, 12/11: Pandemic B’nai Mitzvot Shabbat

The B’nai Mitzvah class of 2020 each did something no other generation has done since 1918: became b’nai mitzvot during a pandemic! Some read Torah in their backyards under a tent while others shared a d’var inside the sanctuary with the livestream. They studied and prepared, remaining focused and resilient despite all of the chaos going on around them. The one thing they were unable to do, however, was to have the traditional experience on the bimah surrounded by many of their friends and family. This Shabbat is their opportunity! We are all proud of this class of students and they deserve their moment in the sun. Saturday the 11th of December is our opportunity as a congregation to celebrate these milestone simchas with B’nai Mitzvot class of 2020!
