Congregation Ohav Shalom elected three new trustees at its spring Congregational Meeting on May 15. They are Jane Ginsburg, Esq., Dr. Brad Gornstein and Heather Rockwood. Each will serve a three-year term.
Jane Ginsburg is an attorney by training and has been a non-profit organization specialist for more than 15 years. Jane currently serves as Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, New York State Coalition. She is an active volunteer with Jewish Federation of NENY, the Albany Jewish Community Center, the Food Pantries of the Capital Region and has coordinated Ohav Shalom’s Junior Congregation.
Dr. Brad Gornstein moved to the Albany area and joined Ohav Shalom in 2006. He is a pathologist at Ellis Hospital. Brad participated in Ohav Shalom’s Project Lech Lecha long-range planning committee and enjoys learning about Jewish history.
Heather Rockwood is a freelance writer and public relations professional. She is an active volunteer with Hebrew Academy and is currently assisting with communications efforts on a state senate campaign.
