Living From the Inside Out: Jewish Tools for Deeper Connection led by Rabbi Rena Kieval, Lynna Schaefer and Jeanette Perkins

In this class, you will learn how a deepened awareness of yourself and of the world around you will help you be your true self.  This group will draw from the ancient Jewish practice of mussar (instruction). We will explore ‘soul traits’ (middot) such as patience, trust and dignity, and how we can cultivate them within ourselves and in our relationships with others.  Our sessions will include discussion, text study, chant and brief meditations.  No previous experience necessary.  All classes meet at 7 pm.

Fall session:  11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/15, 1/12, 1/26, 2/16

Spring session: 3/2, 3/16, 3/30, 4/20, 5/4, 5/18, 6/8

The cost to attend is $42 for Ohav Shalom members and $54 for non-members.

Class size is limited and advance registration is required.
