Life Long Learning Classes
Beginning Jan. 7, 2021 ~ Thursdays at 11 a.m. on Zoom
Turn It and Turn It: A Torah Study Circle
led by Rabbi Rena Kieval
Through reading and conversation, we will study the basic content, the peshat, of each parsha, and explore its deeper teachings through traditional and contemporary commentary and our own thinking. We will use the Etz Chayim chumash as our text, and students are asked to purchase a copy, which can be done through the Ohav office at the time of registration. Price for Spring session $42 additional charge of $65 if you would like to purchase Etz Chayim chumash

Winter-Spring ~ Study Talmud with Rabbi Dan Ornstein
The Lovers of Torah Study
Lovers of Torah meet every other week to examine and try to understand the Torah portion of the week. No knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. All are welcome to join and participate in this lively and friendly group. You can contact either Steve Ribner or Bennett Lax for the Zoom connections. There is no fee.
Study of the Prophets
Informal reading/study group of the Prophets (Nevi’im) and the Writings (K’tuvim) at Ohav. Open to members and non-members and free of charge. No knowledge of Hebrew is required. You are invited to join our Zoom meeting which takes place on alternate Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00.
